COBOL is a programmng language from the 1960s. There is a generational gap in a sense that the men with the white beards master it, but they soon will retire. The Language COBOL is used in Finance and Banking systems which we use a lot every day. The knowledge needs to be preserved for the new generation. And to keep the financial infrastructure safe. I try to excell by solving every day problems with a website or with a program, for example a crypto bot.
I have created a crypto bot in python OOP that works with 4 variables among a stop loss and a profit threshold. Still to this day I have a 150%+ profit. Something I am very proud of.
In a financial magazine I read something about cryptocountancy which is the tax and accountancy on crypto income and trades, long term and short term. That was an article of several years ago and cryptocountancy.nl was born
